Bernie,
Would appreciate it if the Prayer Warriors can include my older sister, Violeta N. Puzon in their prayers. She was just diagnosed with cancer of the cervix. We are glad that it is just on the beginning stage and we are hopeful that the Lord will grant her full recovery after a series of chemos and radiation. Thanks.

FOUR LETTERS CONSOLIDATED
PLEASE INTEGRATE REQUESTS INTO ONE LETTER.
I AM NOT SURE IF I DID THIS RIGHT. APOLOGIES.
Please include the intentions of J. A. Yia , he is too weak to go to the Center to ask for healing personally. Pain from his osteoarthritis has lessened, thanks to Sister Raquel and all prayer warriors but he still eats very little. He is too overcome by fear and he says that he finds it difficult to breathe. Also please pray for my family. I am the sole breadwinner with five kids to support, ages 10 through 16 and currently in danger of losing my job because of the current economic crisis. I will be sending resumes to other prospective employers. May God guide me to the right one and help me get hired. Thank you!

SORRY, NOT SURE IF THIS IS YOU OR ANOTHER PERSON
I am on leave from work today. As I prayed for the intentions found on the site’s bulletin, I was able to read the intentions for the beatification of MIDES. I am also a child of MIDES (Mother Ignacia Del Espiritu Santo). I spent all my elementary school years at the Our Lady of Grace Academy run by RVM nuns, Sis. Raquel’s congregation. For God’s greater glory, I would like to request for the MIDES hymn to be printed on the site and for an audio of the song to be posted, too, if possible. Here are the lyrics to the song as I remember them (which cannot be entirely relied upon). Please make the necessary corrections, again if it’s possible for the song to be printed.
SORRY. LYRICS OF SONG ACCIDENTALLY DELETED.

I was trying to call Sis. Raquel last night between 8 to 9 P.M. through my cellphone. But there was a voice that said, not yet in service. So I told J.A. our patient here, which the community has been praying for for sometime now that the only option left would be for me to go tomorrow, a healing day, to Bagombong as proxy and also for healing of our whole family. But our family was unprepared for what followed after about an hour. J.A. was hovering between sleep and wakefulness so I asked him if he preferred to sleep first before eating. He was about to eat his supper which consisted of bananas. He was eating minimally ever since his vocal cords were partially damaged by acid burn. But I noticed that he was not his usual lucid self. Even if he was weak, he could still speak coherently though softly. This time, he was merely mouthing the words. I told him to be strong. Ever since I had the picture of Sis. Raquel with Our Lady in the background printed, he always had it near his body, particularly on top of his chest when lying down. The prayers to be said every morning at 8 A.M. were printed, too, and he had been praying that for about a week now everyday. About 9:30 P.M., I called on my daughter to pray with me and sing “Come Holy Spirit” while extending our arms over J.A. I could not finish the song without crying especially on ‘Come to the weary of souls” for we were all weary. J.A., because of his sickness, me, because of juggling the responsibilities between my children and my partner J.A., my children, because one of them on rotation, had to be left at home to care for J.A. instead of going to school. Much as I had wanted to take care of him myself as I had done in the first months of his sickness, I was also thinking that we would all be worse off if my bosses suddenly thought my absences would be enough reason to sack me. I had observed that J.A.’s breath was coming faster than normal but that was not enough to alarm me because he would be that way if he exerted so much as an effort just to lift his body off the mattress and move a little higher up it with his head resting on piled up pillows. I also had asked him earlier if he was sleeping and he said yes. But I told him how come your eyes were open. Then he again stared up at the ceiling and in a few minutes, with his face peaceful and eyes remaining open, at 9:45 P.M. he expired. At first I could not believe my eyes because his chest suddenly stopped rising up and going down. For five months, he had suffered and I had often told him who had never known severe illness since childhood to turn to the Lord. J.A. was a robust two-hundred pounder and he died at an estimated weight of one hundred twenty pounds. But I know that he was never happier in His life than at that last moment. I had told Him to trust the Lord after we sang “Come Holy Spirit” because I believed where two or three are gathered, there is God in their midst I told him after singing that God was here right now. Do not be afraid. He who used to hate liturgical songs every time I would sing them was requesting for them in the weeks before he died. I know God was present at His death. He had received the sacrament of anointing on Christmas time. Thanks to this community, to you eastwind and to Sis. Raquel’s intercession, to Mother Ignacia of the “Holy Spirit” and to God for the grace of a happy death.
CONDLENCES AND PRAYER FROM THE MOTHER IGNACIA

Dear Mother Ignacia Healing Ministry,
I am Jian Justine Reyna, 21 years old, from Tacloban City, Leyte. My friend, Ate Jill, told me about your healing ministry. I was really touched with her story and got very interested to know more about the healing ministry. My mother, Nelia Reyna, has Rectosigmoid Cancer Stage III. We are all very sad about her condition. My only wish is that God would be able to let her live longer. We still want to be with her for many more years. We really love her. I really pray to God to cure her. I know that God is the greatest healer. This coming February 10, we are already planning to submit her for her chemotherapy and radiation therapy. But I know, in my heart, that Mommy really does not want to have those treatments. She’s afraid of the side effects. I wish she won’t be able to have those treatments anymore. I know she will be healed at the Mother Ignacia Healing Ministry. I know that God will bring us there. I believe in His power. I know she will be cure. Sisters of the Mother Ignacia Healing Ministry, please help us. Please heal my mother. Thank You!
Justin

Hi Bernie:
So Glad to be part of prayer warriors: Asking for prayers and strength for the parents of the 28-year-old young man, Joel Madrono who died in a car accident while driving down the commonwealth overpass on tandang sora going home to Don Enrique Heights subdivision from makati. He smashed into an elf isuzu which was parked without an early warning device while men were putting up tarpaulins for ads (I did not get what company was putting up the ads) at 3 am Jan 28. His parents, Aida and Chito Madrono and his older sister Maita and younger brother Niki are all distraught and need spiritual help to accept God’s will in this very trying moment. They also seek justice for Joel’s death but are faced with much difficulty, especially since eyewitnesses have disappeared and the QC police are not much help. More, I think, we should pray for this young MBA – UP graduate who has always been such a sweet person all his life. Although his parents deeply wish the accident was prevented, God must have a very different plan from what we can now see through our tears. Thanks.

Dear Sr. Raquel,
I hope this is the right address, but anyway, I would like to thank you and the community for all that you have done to make our short stay there at the Healing Center meaningful and memorable. Thank you for spending time with us. We are now back in Bacolod, and our return trip went fine. I know there is still work to be done for him out there (and it will be done), but it is up to him who will do it, and in what capacity. Maybe in our next trip to Manila, we could find spend a longer time in the Healing Center. It’s really good for the soul… As always…
