– Today is a very special day for me and my family. Three years ago today little Tommy was born. He was almost 3 months early, had a hole in his heart and also had many other problems that preemie’s usually have. I asked for prayer for Tommy on that day and many other days as well. The doctors decided on giving him medications to try closing the hole in the heart. After the medications failed they decided to operate on his heart to close the hole. I laid hands on Tommy and asked the Lord to heal him. Later that evening the doctor that was going to do the operation came to the hospital to check Tommy out personally before having him moved to the Dupont children’s hospital. When he listened to Tommy’s heart he couldn’t hear the sounds a heart makes that has a hole in it. He ordered tests to be run and found the hole was closed and no operation would be needed. Tommy’s weight was only two pound nine ounces when he was born. Tommy had to stay in the hospital until Christmas day before he finally was heavy enough and strong enough to come home. That was a Christmas present we feel God blessed us with personally. I can’t think of anything in this world that could have made us happier then getting Tommy home for the first time. He is doing well and on the go just like any other child his age. Thank you Lord for this miracle and thank you to all of you prayer warriors for being there and crying out to God for our needs. She was diagnosed with colon cancer stage 1 last year, and a part of her colon was already removed. she didnt go through any treatments as her liver is really weak – she has cirrhosis. plus, i couldnt afford to pay for all her medical needs and there is no one else who can help me with this. but am very grateful for all generous people who helped us last year – they gave me money to help pay for the hospital bills and the medicines, plus a month of caregiver. then, there’s the problem of finances too. i can only do so much since my salary isnt that much, and it is only me who provides for all our needs; i do have tutorials but i really couldnt take in so many students since there are some who need more of my attention.
