An April 2013 study reports “elevated rates of congenital thyroid illness among infants in the West Coast and Hawaii” born within 9 months of the Fukushima meltdowns. Obama denied the threat and ordered the EPA to stop radiation tests. An interview with toxicologist Dr. Jane Sherman claimed that about 14,000 Americans have died due to radiation, mainly unknown to the public due to news blackouts.

Associated Press is an exception, “Experts suspect a continuous leak into the ocean through an underground water system. Japanese experts say that Fukushima is currently releasing up to 93 billion becquerels of radioactive cesium into the ocean each day … some 20 to 30 times higher than initially admitted”. Scientists do not even know where and how big is the ‘leak’. Whereas Chernobyl released cesium for only ten days, Fukushima has been doing so for two years to this day. Tuna may be the culprit in the California-Hawaii reports. The map shows the monitor of a tuna from Japan to the California shoreline. Tuna spawns in Japan waters and migrates to California. Samples from 15 Bluefins in Fukushima revealed all had high levels of cesium. The Washington Post reported, “(The US Government) is allowing Fukushima seafood to be sold in the U.S.”

Columnist Allen Roland reports a global media cover up, “The issues of radioactive exposure are considered taboo in the Japanese media, as they are on the American mainstream media. Japan, reinforced by America’s plutocracy, continues to cover up instead of addressing the real human problem”.
