But I am wondering why people are praying through her when she is not God, therefore she is not omnipresent nor omniscient. No doubt the blessed mother Mary is now enjoying the glorious Presence of her Maker in heaven, but to get involved in the affairs of the living on earth, I believe she could not do that anymore. According to Ecclesiastes 9:6, all those who have finally departed their respective earthly bodies will never again take part in anything that happens on this earth. 1 Timothy 2:5 is also telling us that there is only one Mediator between God and men, He is Jesus Christ, who gave Himself a ransom for all so that through His sacrificial death on the cross to receive the punishment that should have been ours, now we are already reconciled back to God as we accept His Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. – I realized all these things after reading the Holy Bible. Now that Mary is already back to her Creator, why not go direct to God for our petitions in life because its only God who can listen and hear all the petitions done simultaneously from the four corners of the world? Anyway, God has already proven to us that He really loved us so much by giving us His One and Only Begotten Son (John 3:16). Surely, He will not withhold the lesser things that we need daily (Romans 8:32). Isn’t that great? God’s grace and peace be yours in full measure. Yours in Christ, – Cesar – ********************** REPLY TO CESAR ********************** – DEAR CESAR – thank you for your response if i may try to answer you not sure i can but please let me try – she is not God she is not omnipotent or omniscient she was human but she is the mother of Jesus can you imagine MOTHER nanay yon ang laking bagay yon (that is a ‘mother’ which means a lot) – there is a special place in the heart of Jesus for His earthly mother – the protestants do not believe in Mary many born agains also i can live with that okay lang sila hindi naman ako sarado (they are okay, I am not close-minded) – pero i am a Marian devotee because para sa akin she is the TULAY TO JESUS (bridge to Jesus) – I am not adoring her as a God I am just praying to her to pray for me to Jesus – naiintindihan ni Jesus yon sa tingin ko (Jesus understands this, in my view) without attributing Divine traits to her it is not idolatry – mary is the last prophet after the new testatment of modern times as much as in the old testament there were isaiah and osee and others she has appeared in guadalupe lourdes fatima akita medjugorje if you can believe that and has given us many messages of punishment and grace – i cannot impose my belief on others who do not believe in mama mary sa akin lang yon at sa maraming iba (that is only for me and many others) – pero ang tawag sa kanya (but we call her) mediatrix which means the bridge to God to Jesus as her Son – eastwind – –
