A new omen?

On April 28, Thursday, as Sister Raquel Reodica, RVM, noted cancer healer for the Lord, entered her bedroom in the evening, she noticed dust on her desk and chair. She flicked off the dust from a piece of paper. But as she peered closer, she noticed the dust glitter. To her surprise, it was what seemed to be gold dust. Is this a new omen after the healing oil? The gold dust has been tested for authenticity and passed with flying colors. It is real gold. Is this an omen that now is a new era of unprecedented healings for the many who are desperate and with terminal ailments, and fortunes for the many who are in financial crisis. Earlier, the Inquirer reported that one day before the deadly typhoon Ondoy which killed many, oil was seen scattered in an orderly fashion on the floor of the adoration chapel of the Mother Ignacia Healing Ministry in Novaliches. That first sign was an omen of both the wrath and mercy of the Lord, wrath in terms of Ondoy arriving the next day, and mercy in terms of many people healed by the oil.

Asked what is the message of the gold dust, Sister Raquel says she does not know and she is indifferent in the sense that we should wait for the will of the Holy Spirit to unfold. She adds, “But one thing is for sure, the gold dust tells us to strengthen our faith and not lose hope.” And since the gold dust appeared in a healing center, it is meant for the sick, the terminally sick in despair, those who have cancer who are losing hope. Beyond this, we should wait for things to unfold.

Forgiveness Heals, Hatred Consumes

The gold dust gives a message of hope. On the same week that the gold dust emerged, an elderly woman of 70, afflicted with brain cancer stage 4, came up to Sister Raquel, asking to be prayed over. The woman complained that it was as if her brain was being ‘sawed off’ (nilalagare, in the vernacular), and it was as if she had five sacks of rice on top of her head. Sister Raquel asked casually if she was with her husband. She instantly started cursing him. Sister said she could not pray over her if she did not forgive her husband. She replied, “Over my dead body.” Sister said, “In which case, I cannot help you. Healing requires forgiveness.” The woman pleaded but to no avail.

After a week, the woman sent a messenger to ask sister to come to her house as she was no longer able to visit her. At first, sister said she did not normally go to homes or the hospital. But realizing that perhaps the woman had forgiven, she decided to make an exception. Sister came to her home. The woman said she had forgiven after a lot of effort and sleepless nights. In due time, she was healed. Her cancer vanished into thin air.

Sister says hate and unforgiveness consumes a person physically and can be the cause of cancer. Forgiveness heals. Arthritis can be caused by being cranky as much as by uric acid in our food. Cancer can be the cause by extreme hatred and anger, as much as by toxins in our food.
