Lord You are the oil in my evening lamp
the sun on my morning bed
the wind against my windless sail
the lull against the vicious storm
You are the song in my lips
the rain on my parched face
the oasis in the vast desert
the flower in my inner garden
uplift my soul, O Lord
stay close when darkness falls
Panginoon, kayo po ang langis
ng aking lampara sa gabi
ang araw sa aking kama s aumaga
ang hangin tumutulak sa aking layag
kapag walang hangin
ang tahimik laban sa bagyo
kayo po ang himig na kinakanta ko
ang ambon sa aking tuyong pisngi
ang tubig sa malawak na disyerto
and bulaklak sa aking hardin
i-angat nyo po, O Panginoon
dyan po kayo sa aking tabi pag kapit ng dilim

illogical and self centered
love them anyway
if you are kind people may accuse you
of having selfish or ulterior motives
be kind anyway
if you are successful
you will win false friends and true enemies
succeed anyway
if you are honest and frank
people may cheat you
be honest and frank anyway
what you spend years building
someone could destroy overnight
build anyway
if you find serenity and happiness
some may be jealous
be happy anyway
the good you do today
people will often forget tomorrow
do good anyway
give the world the best you have
and it may never be enough
give the world the best you’ve got anyway
in the final analysis
it is between you and God
it has never between you and them anyway

many roam remote mountains
in search of My kingdom
wandering to distant places
groping in darkened forests
yet My kingdom is inside you
and inside others around you
it is inside all of you together
praising My name
marami ang dumadayo
sa malalayong bundok
hinahanap ang aking kaharian
kahit sa dilim ng mga gubat
ngunit ang aking kaharian ay nasa loob niyo
at sa loob ng bawat kapwa sa paligid niyo
nasa loob ninyong lahat
na nagsasamba sa Aking pangalan
