Maria Socorro Mendoza was born with a congenital hole on the skull. The father, who was a doctor, declared that there was no more hope. But her mother did not lose hope. She went daily for Mass and novena at the Carmel church in Lipa. She covered the hole on her daughter’s skull with a rose petal from the church. (Read more about the miracle of rose petals below.) On the fifth day of the novena, the hole vanished. Praise be the Lord and our Lady Mediatrix.

The Vatican insists that the apparitions of Our Lady Mediatrix of All Grace in Lipa are not authentic. But how do you explain the many miracles of healings? Whom do we believe, the Virgin who heals us or the Vatican?
The Vatican, under the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith (CDF), which investigates the authenticity of Marian apparitions, has, since 1951, considered the Mediatrix apparitions in Lipa as non-authentic. They ordered the destruction of statues and novena pamphlets and rose petals, the very evidence they needed for their investigation.
Today, they permit ‘devotion and prayer’ but has banned any mention and connection with the apparition. Ironically, the more they suppress, the more the devotion spreads due to the many miracles through the decades (read about them from the Mediatrix library, link is below.)
The Virgin has triumphed over the Vatican in the end. Mrs. Maria Socorro Mendoza speaks of her healing experience.
