As a baby, Sister Melanie Sunga, RA (Religious of the Assumption) had a congenital incurable ‘club foot’, caused by the Achilles tendon being too short. The seminarian wiped some holy water from Lipa on the ‘club foot’ of his baby niece Melanie. Three days after her mother completed the novena to Our Lady Mediatrix, she suddenly walked without a limp. Praise Jesus and Mary for healing Sr. Melanie.

As a baby, Sr. Melanie walked with a heavy limp. When Melanie’s uncle, a seminarian at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), heard the news of the apparition of Our Lady Mediatrix, which was spreading like wildfire through the Internet, he went to Lipa and got some holy water. Without telling Melanie about it, he rubbed the holy water on her ‘club foot’. Her mother prayed the novena everyday to the Lady Mediatrix. Three days after completing it, the mother wept because Melanie could instantly walk without a limp.
Uninformed of stories of healing in Lipa, and of the power of the novena to Our Lady Mediatrix of All Grace, the Vatican ordered novena pamphlets burned, together with the rose petals and the diary of visionary Sister Teresing. The healing rose petals were proof of the authenticity of the apparition. They were blind and pre-judged the apparition as fake, lacking the evidence which they destroyed and lacking field reports from Lipa.
But the Virgin won in the end. The more the cardinals suppressed, the more the Filipinos stubbornly clung to Mama Mary. The believed the many miracles through the decades. (Read more on Mediatrix miracles, link is below).
